Our Verification Methodology
At Tiruvannamalai Rooms, we believe that trust comes from transparency. When we recommend a property, we want
you to know exactly what our recommendation is based on.
What We Check During a Visit
When a member of our team visits a property, we assess the following:
- Room condition Walls, ceiling, flooring, paint condition, overall maintenance.
- Bedding Mattress quality, clean sheets, pillow condition.
- Bathroom Cleanliness, water pressure, hot water availability, functioning fixtures,
ventilation.
- Amenities AC, fan, Wi-Fi, TV, power sockets, wardrobe/storage, mirror, lighting.
- Safety Door locks, window security, fire safety, well-lit corridors, CCTV in common
areas.
- Common areas Reception, corridors, stairways, lobby cleanliness.
- Parking Availability, security, and ease of access.
- Location Distance to Arunachaleswarar Temple, Ramana Ashram, Girivalam route, bus stand,
and railway station.
- Noise levels Is the property on a noisy road? Are rooms sound-insulated?
- Staff Responsiveness, helpfulness, and general attitude.
- Value for money Is the rate fair relative to what is offered?
What "Verified" Means
When a property is labelled "Verified by Tiruvannamalai Rooms", it means:
- A member of our team has physically visited the property.
- We have assessed the room conditions described above.
- The property met our minimum standards for recommendation.
We will display the inspection date where available, so
you know how recent our assessment is.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not fabricate inspection reports.
- We do not claim to have visited a property we have not visited.
- We do not create fake reviews or ratings.
- We do not guarantee that a property's condition will remain exactly as assessed
properties can change over time.
Property-Provided vs. Verified Information
We clearly distinguish between information we have verified first-hand and information provided by the
property owner. For example:
- "Inspected by Tiruvannamalai Rooms on [date]" Means our team visited and assessed the
property on that date.
- "Information provided by the property" Means the amenity list, room description, or
photos were supplied by the property owner and have not been independently verified by us.
Ongoing Assessment
Verification is not a one-time event. We aim to revisit properties periodically and update our assessments.
If we receive feedback from customers about a significant change in quality, we investigate and update our
recommendation accordingly.
Property Standards
We do not have a rigid star-rating system. Instead, we assess whether a property genuinely delivers good
value within its category. A well-maintained budget room that is clean and safe can receive our
recommendation, just as a premium property can.
